Re: Parts, and a Springfield Sporters update

This is good news as Apex is a parts dealer and will want to sell them. It'd have been great had S.S been able to stay in business as they had the knowledge of the inventory. But I don't begrudge him his retirement. Can't enjoy it if you aren't alive to do so. I was trying to keep an eye on century'...

Re: RC DOU 42

I thought it was a done by the importer to simplify things. Easier to apply a new number than read the old one. And everything is in a nice clean order.

Re: Swede Bayo Blade Replacement

These are cool af. Until I saw a spare blade for sale on Ebay, I never knew they were designed that way.
Pretty clever.
And good to know about the disassembly.

Pics from what I am sure is Springfield Sporters...

A guy posted a couple pics from Springfield Sporters stock of no 1 mk3 rifles converted to .410. So hoping to see more similar pics I used Google image search and this site popped up. It's in Russian, but translated over to English no problem, The place was identified as being in Springfield Massach...

Re: What do you do when you run out of TP?

For real? Back around 1984 we had a full house. My family plus moms boyfriend, his two kids and his brother and his cousin. So things ran out faster than normal. On separate occasions I cut up a paper shopping bag, a pair of worn out underwear and then a couple of coffee filters. Mom would have been...

Re: Ammo is getting scarce.................

I am ok in ammo. But could always use more. I like to check out prices. I went over to my favorite site sgammo.com and was surprised despite reading about the surge in sales only to see they'd shut down new orders for at least a week. You can't even get into their site to see what they had,. I don't...

Re: M1917 warped stock, etc.

Hey doc, about adding weight. When I was shooting high power matches I'd get bruised up during rapid fire. Dumbass me would get excited and slip up. I was shooting my M1. I added twenty-seven .58 caliber musket balls. Basicly all that would fit. It eliminated my bruising problem, I would recommend g...
