I clarified the rules.
I read your original post with the rules but I have slept since then. Again, I am sorry. I am just trying to have fun. I will refrain from posting until November

Here are the results of my last 3 practice sessions. Can't seem to score past 94. I'll keep on trying though.

bah humbug! I dug out my ammo for the Japanese T38. I have exactly 10 rounds left, which means no sighters. Can't find any more online, so this will be a bit of a challenge..... Currently this website says "available for back order." But I really like how their ammunition shoots. https://www.steine...

Are you suggesting $1,000 per rifle? Or am I misunderstanding your post?

Re: The Great War Match (1914-1919)

PRACTICE TARGET - NOT FOR RECORD I have selected the rifle I will be competing with for this competition. An M1891, "Peter the Great," Mosin Nagant, manufactured in 1915, by the Tula Arsenal. The rifle is a Finnish capture but retains its original Russian barrel. My ammunition of choice is the "Mona...

PRACTICE TARGET - NOT FOR RECORD: The rifle I used does not even qualify for this perticular competition. I am just familiarizing myself with the SRF target. Would you guys mind grading my target? I want to know if I am grading it correctly and if our scores match. I will not post what I think my sc...

From what I understand, based off a thread originally posted to gunboards, these slings were likely manufactured post-war using old materials. I suspect most were warehoused and eventually sold off as surplus in brand new, unissued condition. There are a few examples on eBay which is where I aquired...
