Re: Spanish 1916 7.62 magazine spacer

Well found an entire magazine trigger guard with the 7.62 spacer installed. Not the hinged type but luckily had a 1903 floorplate that fit. Now the rifle will feed some what. Not the greatest but it does work. Good since the rifle seems to shoot good with reloads. Thanks to everyone that helped with...

Spanish 1916 Mauser Magazine Spacer

Hi, trying this, does anyone have a spare spacer for the Spanish 1916 Mauser converted to 7.62 or details for making one?

Re: Spanish 1916 7.62 magazine spacer

Thanks for the pictures, guess I will have to make a spacer. I happened onto this rifle and tried it out. Knowing the rep for soft steel(which seems to follow the low number 1903 issue) I reloaded some LC cases with 37.6 grns of IMR4895 with a Hornady 150 grn soft point. Off the bench at 100 yards i...

Spanish 1916 7.62 magazine spacer

Anyone know where to get a spacer for the magazine of a Spanish 1916 rifle converted to 7.62?

Spanish FR 7

I have a Spanish FR 7 Mauser in 7.62 that won't feed from the magazine. I have tried different spring with no luck. It seems the round doesn't come up enough to engage the bolt completely and the bolt stops short of loading the round. It will single load without the follower. This rifle doesn't have...

Re: Garand vs. M14

The M-14 could also be loaded from stripper clips without removing the mag.

Re: Bad extractor cut on an Ishapore 2A1?

Hard to tell from the photo, looked at mine and the cut is tapered down away from the chamber. A little clean up couldn't hurt. Try a little at a time.

Foreign 30 cal M1 Carbine Ammo

Anyone have an idea of where the carbine ammo is made in a white box with a star inside a wreath and looks like farsi writing on it?

Re: My CMP 1911A1

Pics I've seen lately are some nice pistols, wish I would have made the cut. For a short time I carried a rebuild that looked like new until we changed over to the Berretta. Never did get used to the 92's.

Re: '95 Nagant revolver with .32 ACP cylinder range report

I would like to know your load data, I also have a Nagant with a .32 ACP cylinder, using factory loads it barely dents a 55 gallon drum at 25 yards. Haven't checked accuracy due to expense of .32 ACP around here. Surplus Nagant ammo used to be cheap here but now expensive. Do you cast your own bulle...

Re: Turkish cleaning rods repost

I find it amazing so many Turk rifles don't have their cleaning rods, since they screw in, it would seem that they would retain them. I did find an original rod for one of mine missing the rod. Love them Turks!

Can't help in the fitting but I bought my pistol with the 32 cylinder and it works fine just changing the cylinder. I don't have to change anything else.

Re: 1907 bayonet

Yes, I know 1907 is the model! That is the reason I referred to it as a 1907 bayonet. The manufacture year is 17. My question was, could Australia possibly used the India made bayonets and marked them Australia on the handles. I will concede the possible import mark,
