The show this weekend in Fl was fairly busy but did not see alot of cash changing hands. One AR gun sell a lot as he has great prices and very good to deal with. He tell people to shop the other vendors and than come to him. There were only about 4 regular private sellers left over the years and thi...
M1Ds are arsenal modifications of standard M1 models. The barrels are from 51 to 53 so they were not made near the end of WWII . The CMP documented M1Ds carry a premium over undocumented rifles, does the one being offered have any paper work, if not it is worth the sum of its parts. The barrel will ...

I have had this one for a while , sorry for the poor pictures. Im going through bayonets and figured I would post a few pics . Im more of a US collector so know little about these.
Its good to see you back , I was wondering where you disappeared to, my small labs are 13 and two of them are having a hard time with there hips. I started giving them glycoflex about a year ago . Its hard watching them get old no to mention they get me up about every 2 to 3 hours at night.

Good info by Charles, also the stacking swivel screw looks to be ready to fall out. I would not be in a hurry on this one unless its about 600.00 bucks. Hsve you looked at cmp rifles? Does this rifle have the chalky gray finish, not crazy about that either.
Congrats on the 1911, really cant go wrong with the price and cmp cert. Good luck to the rest of you waiting on 1911 orders. I passed on this offer as I have a few already , kinda wish I would have just to have a cmp one.

Good Luck at the show, is this the Lakeland gun and knife show usually at the convention center? I went to it several years ago and found some nice stuff, one visit I purchased 3 1911s from a guy and once found a IHC/SA gap letter in original condition for 700.00. I stopped going as it was just to c...

Thanks for the post, I have a Russian M44 that is as new with the flaking finish you describe. I will give it a try. I cringe to think what I destroyed many years ago when getting M1s from cmp with oily stocks that I cleaned . I know I should probably do some jail time for actions. LOL

Thanks for the info , I jsut checked them out and lots of interesting stuff at fair prices. I see he is offering a Krag bayo with scabbard, also a scabbard only. I took my Krag to the range to day and it was a pleasure to shoot.
