Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Re: Swedish FM 23-36 trial rifle---update...it arrived!

These Swedish rifles are definitely addictive! Mechanically excellent, accurate, a wide variety of shooting platforms, and low recoil.................what more could you ask for. You just want to have one of each.

Very nice, and very rare rifle. You got it for a great price. I have a CG 80 that is really fun to shoot. Post up some shooting results after you have a chance to get it to the range.

Re: 1903 a3

Looks like a nice original M82 scope in good condition. The M82 scopes are getting harder to find, and typically sell for $1000 plus. Those scopes were pretty simple. I don't think there would be any problem adjusting windage or elevation on it. If it doesn't work you can send it to Iron Sights. The...

Re: Who else sent the PW to CMP for a 1911?

I put my packet into the lottery. Nice to hear that there were just over 17000 versus some predictions of up to 100,000. According to the rules, just about everyone that put in an accepted packet will get a chance to buy one either this year or the next 2 years assuming the CMP is able to get anothe...

Re: Swedish M41B

Very nice. Looks like an arsenal replacement stock (are there any markings?), and that is a plus IMO. Scope mount matches the base, and that is good. Many of theses rifles will not have other matching parts, so if other parts don't match I wouldn't sweat it. Scope looks like it has a fair amount of ...

Re: Argentine Model 1891 Infantry Rifle & Cavalry Carbine At The Range

Beautiful guns. Surprising you are shooting better with the Carbine. I sold off my Argentine collection, 91, 09, and Carbine and of course I'm regretting it. I do remember that the Carbine was a shoulder buster, so I don't miss it as much as the others. For me the 09 was a tack driver, and the...

Re: CMP vintage sniper match rifle

Are you going to the national matches this year?
I wish I could, but not this year. I think the vintage sniper matches are this weekend.

This rifle was built by a local guy, but he's built a number of them and knows what he is doing.

Re: CMP vintage sniper match rifle

I've got several Fecker, Lyman and Litschert external adjusting scopes. Unfortunately neither the Fecker nor the Litschert have their magnification marked on them. Is your Fecker marked with its power? At any rate, I'm thinking of using the adjusting scope rings from the Fecker, Lyman or Litschert ...

Re: New CG 63

Tell me, if you know whether the mounting pattern for the various rear aperture sights are the same. I've got several different unmounted rear aperture sights that I actually like better than the Soderin. I don't want to fool around dismounting the sights if they are not going to fit without doing ...

Re: New CG 63

Very nice. Those rifles are getting harder to find. They can be really accurate once you dial in the best handload. I used to have a CG 63, but sold it when I acquired a CG 80. Now wishing that I'd kept both. I can't tell what type of front sight you have, but they all have interchangeable inserts t...

Re: CMP vintage sniper match rifle

Here is my 1903A1 clone. Built by a local guy that shoots competively in the CMP matches. He had 2 of these and was raising money for a new project and decided to sell one, so I got it for a very good deal. New Criterion barrel, New CMP stock, Fecker 8X scope. I had the option to buy it with the HiL...

Re: CMP Special Grade

I got a Special grade in 308. Very fun to shoot and pretty darn accurate for a semi-auto. I love the looks of a raw linseed finish. It will gradually get a darker redish color over time.

Re: Although Browning has stopped production

Very Nice! I recently picked up my first Hi Power. Mine was a T-prefix dating to 1968. Mine was in nearly new condition with a nice finish and very nice bore. They are very fun to shoot. Congrats and Happy B-Day!

Re: JRA 1903A4 Accuracy

Nice video. Fun rifles to shoot. I have a Gibbs version. Unfortunately, my range only goes to 225 yards, so I can't fully test its accuracy at long range. I haven't tried 175g bullets, but may give them a try with my next reload. Thanks for posting!
