I too got a 1917 Eddystone sport job. The stock was nicely done by a wood craftsman back in the day. Luckily no metal bits were upset, so I can return it to mil spec at my leisure. PAX

The only really good picture I remember seeing was of my Pops spiking a volleyball, he was %'2" and the net was around his knees. '45 I think,PAX

That's so cool sheep. My Dad was in the 1st Filipino Regiment. Later I found out he and one of my uncles were Alamo Scouts, many missions were clandestine, and none of them spoke about their action. My uncle and 2 other guys in the unit could speak Japanese, They were smuggled ashore on Leyte by sub...

I have both 7MM & 8MM and have not shot either. The Vinny is new unissued and it's my understanding that there should be no problem with a "NEW" rifle. The Egyptian is a war horse and a candidate for a 2 piece before it gets run. PAX

Nice rifle. I like that caliber and have a Spanish 1916 and an FN49 in it. I'd have others but it's tough to find milsurp these days. PAX

Nice rifle. I like my 2, a '65 & a '67. I know they where a stop gap until they could be replaced, but it always amazed me they didn't upgrade the rear sight. PAX
