Re: 310-300 rook questions

On this forum they said that they cut down .32-20 cases, but may have to turn down the rims:

Re: Unknown German pistol

Looks similar to a Buchel Luna Olympic Free Pistol: Scroll down on this page until you see Buchel Luna: http://revivaler.com/antique-collectible-olympic-free-pistols/ Admittedly, it's a bit different, but could be a different design for one year, or could be by another manufacturer. Could even be a ...

Re: Link to Clip Markings

Yep, he meant M.90. So...these clips were made in various Russian plants and unfortunately we really have no way of knowing which. Ah, well...

There is paperwork showing that clips were made at the "Grushka" plant sot hat's been confirmed, at least.

Re: Link to Clip Markings

Just got some info from Nick over at Gunboards: If you read Russian there is very good info on the M.93 clip production in Russia. Some are listed in Izhevsk inventory (740,085 - could be made by others), another 24,000 clips were made elsewhere (can't tell exactly where), some were made by the Груш...

Re: Link to Clip Markings

This is more of a note to myself than any real information. Sorry. In regards to Russian unmarked clips, Treshkin over at IAA said: Regarding Russian clips for 8x50R Mannlicher. Russia produce them, but I am not sure, that manufacturer was St. Petersburg ammo plant. May be this plant produce only am...

According to this site (http://worldbayonets.com/Misc__Pages/Im ... kings.html) it's made by H. Mundlos & Co, but I'm no expert at all. ^_^

Thanks for sharing!

TechChrim Ammo - Odd Stuff

So there's a Russian company named TechChrim that seems to mostly specialize in...well, slapping together ammo from whatever's available! First off they make the .366 TKM designed to be used in shotguns with Paradox bored as well as the 9.6x53 Lancaster, which is designed to be used in oval bored La...

Mine is quite similar to yours, except with a peep sight instead of scope mounts. Sure, it's not original but it was under $200 and in great condition.

Re: Chinese Mannlichers

There's a book titled China's Small Arms of the 2nd Sino-Japanese War for sale on that site ( http://chinesefirearms.com/ad2.html ), but only the English version is available. Reviews have stated that the best version is the Chinese one, followed by the Chinese/English version, because the images ar...
