Re: german stuff

JP Sauer & Son Manufacture, love your work, converted by the Israelis to 7.62 or maybe the Czechs.
Like to see the other markings on the receiver.
Thanks for the pics

Ditto on liking the rifle.
But i gotta dispute the weight issue. They weigh the same as the M1.
I think its just the extra 2 inches of barrel that throws things off.
I think you are correct but we are not allowed to play with those type of toys here (M1)

My Eddystone is one of my favourites as well. It maybe a little heavier rifle than some but it absorbs the recoil well.

Re: RAF MARKED ENFIELD NO2 revolver

The " Tanker" model generally refers to the spurless hammer version which was designed so the hammer did not snag on clothing, equipment etc while in confined spaces. ie inside a tank. I don't believe that was its official designation but is given by collectors themselves to differentiate the two ve...

Re: 41 Tula SVT40 sniper

Very nice, something we can only dream about down in Oz Is this because of laws, or were none ever shipped to you all down there??? We did have them in Oz but since 96 most were destroyed and ownership of one have been heavily restricted. Most law abiding citizens can never own one but crims can. N...

Thanks Indy

It has inspired me to do research on my Grand Fathers war records.

One of them was a veteran of Stalingrad

That is in good condition for its age.

I think Liberty Tree may have Carcano Bandoliers that you are looking for.
