Case sticking in the chamber

I took my Finnish M39 and M44 to the range this eve and I enjoyed how they shoot . They are very accurate and the Fin has a very nice trigger pull. The two started having sticky cases after 10 of 15 rounds. I am giving the chambers a and bolts a better cleaning tonight and will see if that helps. I ...

Re: Any thoughts on these rifles

I guess I would describe two of them as field grade and the other as service grade . Honestly I have no desire to shoot them as I have others I shoot. I really jsut do not have the room to keep them . I understand what you are saying about keeping them but I have so many others that these just do no...

Re: Side Jobs and weapons/ammo for payment

I do not do much in the line of side work these days but a good friend who is a mobile mechanic has ( will work for guns ) on the back of his truck. He has a fantastic collection of which many were earned on the job.

Re: Any thoughts on these rifles

Thanks for the info , well I guess I identified the carcano correctly LOL. These really do not fit in my collection and may keep one of them. I will be listing two of them soon , I guess my question should have been , should I keep on over the other two? The center one is the best looking one . Thanks

Re: Camillus mk2 knife with USMC provenence

Great story , thanks for sharing. My Dads friend was in the Marines and passed his Camillus on to him. Knives are so much more when carried as so.

They may be half as nice but will be four times as much. The Danes were known for having many original parts still on them. I purchased many of the woodless Danes.

I am starting to enjoy other MilSurp bayos and rifles lately and realize what I have been missing. Its a good thing I purchased alot of it because the price was right. http:...

Trying to find a favorite

Being new to the forum and the excitement of shooting a few mil surp rifles like the Swiss rifles and a few French ones has opened my eyes to all the stuff I have kept in boxes under the bed for a long time. Some of these bao are real beauties and I am trying to pair them to the rifles they go to. T...
