Re: carbines

Could be a few, but I wouldn't expect many if there are. If they do get some, I'm sure they would be auctioned off in place of general sales.

Re: 1936 s/27 k98 RC pics

I love the walnut stock. I've always enjoyed Russian captures, to me they are a great project. Sure maybe one day the ones in Russian capture condition will fetch a premium but right now the "restored" ones sell for more than the Russian reworks. I have enjoyed scowering the world for parts and tryi...

Great job on the repair and restoration. It's always great to see when a rifle can come back to form.

Beautiful rifle and interesting back history. Looks like that one was just put away and used much after it was purchased.

Re: Repaired a duffel cut. Feedback welcome.

Great job on the repair, this should be a sticky if it isn't already. I watched a YouTube video a few weeks ago where a guy made a similar repair and I believe one to the wrist. He stated neither could be done with retaining the original finish I called him out on it, know exactly as you did here it...

Re: "BSW" on "bnz 4" k98. Meaningful?

Due to the earlier Weimar waffenamt eagle and the fact that BSW made the Kar98k through 1940 I would think it was an unused receiver or even a refurb receiver. I would tend to lean towards unused. I also believe your rifle is an SS contract or rebuild for the SS. The lack of waffenamt (army acceptan...

Re: Lee-Enfield Modifications, Replicas, and Fakes

What's the best way to go about replacing my flash hider on my no 5 , it's all matching and sooooo nice minus that modification someone made in the years after the war. You have the tap the pins out. But warning each nose cap was fitted to each rifle. There are grooves in the barrel and another fro...

You obviously have too many. I will help relieve the burden in you by giving some of them a home.

:D

It's a very nice collection!

I was just going to offer the same deal. Great collection!

Re: M38 with correct sling

Great looking M38. I got into an interesting conversation on another forum about these slings. I had one on my M38 as well. They have determined (the contributer to a major Mosin Nagant board) that these are not in fact Russian M38 slings as their sight suggests but post war Bulgarian. (I'll have to...
