Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

On a Russian roll

Hi Fellas, Upping my post count. I've been going downtown lately. While chasing down some pistol ammo, I came across an M38, all matching, bright shinny bore, smooth bolt. Rifle and 200 rounds commercial, 200 Romanian surplus, for $400. I thought that was a good deal. Then last month I traded a roug...

Eddystone fixer upper

Hi Fellas Running my post count up. I had a guy on another board accept my offer on an M1917 Eddystone sporter. Fortunately, no permanent alterations were done to the metal, just the wood. What was done, was done by a skilled craftsman of the era, '50s - '60. Anyway, I had been on a hunt for the rig...

Sport salvage help

Hi Fellas, I've got a #4 MK1/2 '60's sport job that I can salvage. The barrel wasn't chopped, only the fore arm, so if I get a forearm, fore ward HG, some metal bits & pieces It'll go back. Any body got extras that would work? I have spare #1 furniture, but I was thinking to use it on an Ishy 2A1 re...

Re: Trying to find an SVT

Register over at Calguns, then ask the same question in the C&R section, and Gunboards has/had a couple listed recently. I too had been looking AT them, but missed the boat when they were plentiful and affordable. I was helping my FFL bud tend to his table at a local show. He was getting a few tire ...

Re: New source for Iron

Just got back from my FFL to give my latest acquisitions the once over. To say the least I'm happy. The slingless, mismatched, refurbed M44, looks like it went door to door, rousting Nazis in Stalingrad. TBM 1's Pacific SKS lead, was in fact a very nice deal for the money. The listed picture was acc...

Re: New source for Iron

Pacific only had one more at $250 a parts build, non matching and not camoed. Mine's waiting at the FFL to DROS along with a Mosin M44. PAX

Re: laminated handguard on Russian SKS

Sorry for such a late reply, but is the HG numbered on the left side? If so, could be Russian "Irkutsk" refurb (formerly known as Ex-DDR/Liski) SKS. Did you end up getting it? PAX

Hi Fellas,

I just found out about these guys. I ordered the $250 setup. Ugly but decosmosed. I'm rolling the dice on one. PAX

I'mmmm....baaack

Hi Fellas, Like the rest of us, I wondered what happened. Well starting over is better than not having the place, although, with photobucket getting kicked to the curb, it'll be some while before I'm up with pictures from a 3rd party host. I'm a long time milsurp junkie, having been given a Mossberg...
