My question concerns Non-sporterized milsurp rifles, whether at the Rome show this Saturday, or in an actual Rome gun (Not pawn) shop which features milsurp rifles. My favorites are Enfield #4s with 4 or 5-groove rifling (most have 2-grooves), LE #5s, Spanish FR8s (well-read 'bout them, and have a pair), SKS etc. All of my milsurps have aperture sights.
:) One has the Tech Sight. "On business" by ATL Airport, but can't make it home this weekend.

Has anybody seen a good variety of milsurp rifles at shows in Rome? I will call (at random) a shop in Rome tomorrow, and maybe a shop in the Atlanta area to check their impressions.
The objective would be to just look, and possibly collect a few business cards, in case a seller would later ship, pending a possible deal in about two weeks.
Any deal would Not begin to happen until then. I will have the cash at that time-the question is whether there is a good selection there.

Thanks very much for any info.

The National Arms Show on the south side of Atlanta on March 3/4 is the best show in Georgia for MilSurp weapons. $2.00 off for Veterans.

Unless you have a Georgia Driver's License you are from out of state so the dealers will NOT sell a weapon to you at the show. An individual might though.
Cherokee Arms is always a busy table, not sure if they ship or not. They always bring a crate of Mosins.

Thanks.
My schedule might not allow going to that large show in Atlanta.

But if it somehow becomes possible, some might be willing to ship to an FFL.
