Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

An End of the War Styer k98k question

#1 Post by indy1919a4 » Wed Aug 29, 2018 10:24 am

So I read this on another gun web site.. Does anyone know about this rifle??

At the end of WWII Styer of Austria changed the K98k code from BNZ to a new lettering.

There are only 6 known to exist as this was literally the last week of the war they did this so few were made and the only one I ever saw online sold for $20K

The last k98k marked by Steyr that I know of was "bnz 45" in one line across the receiver ring.
