I'd love to have one of the AIR-RIFLES that the Austrian army fielded in 1814 against France. They were described as more accurate and longer ranged than anything else in service, and were used by a special unit of quasi-snipers for officer removal.

The only ones I can think of off the top of my head is a really nice original M17 "enfield" and a Chattlerant and Remington M91. Oh yeah, and a Win 1895 Russian musket.

The one I'd really like is a .280 Ross! And a nice SVT 40 before they get too expensive.

I've got the Tikka M28 and the PSL scratched off my list.

I wonder if this is similar to the air rifle that Lewis & Clark had with them on the Journey of discovery? It was described as extremely accurate, long range and far superior to the Black powder rifles they had. It impressed the heck out of Indians along the way.
I would like to add one of these to my collection!

Belle Star’s Revolvers!

This may be near impossible but here is why:

The pistols were in the family at one time and may still be with some distant relative.
My Great Uncle was a man by the name of James Robert “Bob” Hutchins. At age 15 he became a Deputy U.S. Marshal for the Indian Territories riding for “Hanging” Judge Parker out of Ft. Smith Arkansas along w/ Buck Garrett, Heck Thomas, Bud Ballew, Dutch Spencer, Bill Tilgham and others.
Some time after Belle Star was killed Bob tracked down her former husband Jim July Starr fatally shooting him. Uncle Bob took the revolvers from Jim July and had them in his collection until his own death in 1951.
The a pair of pearl handled revolvers are featured on the back cover of his Biography Gunman’s Territory printed in 1969.

Any Leads?

A German G43 stolen from me along with 24 other long guns and 3 pistols about 10 years ago. The old gun is still on NCIC. I hope it turns up one of these days. Thanks, Jack

Mosin- Nagant M91/30PE or PU
PPSH-41, original full auto, for that gun, I would live out of a big refrigorator box for a month
SVT-40
SVT-40 PU
Izzy AK-47, this one I'm looking very hard, I'm looking to settle with a WASR-10 from AIM as it fills the void for me
'53 Tula SKS, '53 because that date has signifigance for me
Russian TT-33
AKS-74U "Krinkov"
M1 Garand
M1 carbine
M1903A4
M1903 with pederson
L-E no.5 Mark 1- prolly my next
WW2 era Webly reolver in .455
czech VZ54 sniper rifle
Luger
that's about all that comes to mind at the moment
