Took "George" to the range

Post by Tommy Atkins »

To (finally) zero the AGP folding sight.
Not too shabby!
Started out using the old factory sights to "bore sight", then switched to the AGP folding peep. About 4"right & close to zero for 100y elevation.
This was with S/A R1M3Z ammo.
A few tweaks then on to my own 180 gr SP loads. left<>right was fine but I was 8" high with the AGP #9G set to factory zero.
I'm satisfied with a a 10-roud slow fire 6 1/4" group @ 100yds using a 100year + old rifle, sights from the 1920's & a No1 Mk1* "calibrated eyeball" (trifocals) !

Cool set-up. That sight is cool--never ssaw one in the flesh--
I too would be very happy with that 10 shot group--10 shots separates the sheep from the goats!
