Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

I managed to pick this beautiful hex receiver Tula up at a nearby gunshow! It came with your typical green nylon sling. In the year 1934, weren't these slings still all leather? Any ideas on where I could get a nice reproduction or original?

Pre war Soviet leather M91/30 slings are practically non existent. Your rifle went through the Soviets post war rebuild and refurbishment program though so that post war canvas sling is completely correct for it.
