Where can I find a decently priced vz 24 for sale?

also, I've never ordered a rifle online, I know I would have to have it sent to a licensed dealer, but how much would it cost on top of the price of the rifle?

if it matters, I am looking for something in good condition. I would like to convert the rifle into a nice sporter hunting rifle.

VZ 24's are readily available and are classified as Curio and Relic arms. They are very well made, and were sold to many countries around the world. What are your condition, originality and caliber requirements?? I am sure there are members here who can steer you to an acceptable piece.

I have never purchased from either of these companies myself, but haven't hard bad things about them either. Samco has barreled receivers (who needs a stock if you're going to spoterize it?)

And someone just got a rifle from here and was very pleased

You may find what you’re looking for already built—or at least closer to how you want it-- here

I check the "Mauser" and "Husqvarna" sections one a week. If you call them they will pull the rifle and go over it with you on the phone—very helpful sales people. I've bought from them before and was very please. I would get a gun with a “very good" bore however, as their "good" bores are strong, but the groves are quite dark.

Hope that helps

Ronn

If a sporting rifle is your goal, maybe just a complete action will be more practical. You might even find a sprotered VZ 24 for cheap. There are a lot of options open to you,
