What Span-Am unit were you portraying?

Island Lake's a nice park. Been a while since I've been there, but I remember seeing the historical marker for the training camp.

I'm not in a unit, I fall in with people I know who do it as well. Most of the people are with or were with Civil War units, and we do this as an aside.

Nice muskets and kit, Hunter_aka_Scotty.

I'm also impressed you got the Union Flag the correct way up on your sign. Most Brits can't do that.

Second Florida members portray several eras of mounted troops. I'm on the left, as an infantry Major. this is the Dade reenactment in Bushnell Florida, to be held again Jan. 5/6. About the most authentic in Florida of any era. It's 1836, and the Seminoles are hostile.

this is Revolutionary war(2), 1812, Seminole/Mexican war, Union/Confederate, Plains Indian wars, Spanish-American, and Punitive Expedition/WW1(me). Each member does his best to research his era and be able to do first person if asked. We mostly do CW, since that's the most prevalent here.
