My Polish made WZ-29 went to Spain and served with the communist rebels. It has a scrubbed receiver but the serial numbers all match and there are no import marks. Other than a few proof marks on the bolt, there are very few markings or stamps on the rifle.

My Polish Kar 98AZ also has a scrubbed receiver and the only Spanish markings it has is the Spanish acceptance mark on the butt stock

Most of the rifles were overhauled and scrubbed at some point after the Civil War. The MP over 8 Flaming Bomb is believed to be a post-SCW arsenal mark. Here's a clearer example of the same marking as posted above on my Spanish Mauser.
