Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

My 1909 was the very first rifle I ever purchased for myself at 18 years old. Paid $49 for it with 2 boxes of Norma ammo and a handful of stripper clips. I still have the rifle and the strippers! Mine is also all matching including the cleaning rod. It's a letter C prefix which puts it's production around Feb or March 1910. Does yours have it's crest? Mine was very lightly ground and after some careful polishing it became clearly visible. The 7.65x53 is a great round, about the power of a .308 but with mild recoil in that heavy long barreled rifle. It will eventually become part of my estate as I'll never let it go on my own. - Bill
