Bought this 1940 dated,Terni, XVIII,no import marks, Carcano about a month ago.It had a light coat of rust on all parts. But cleaned up nice for $125.Came with greenish colored sling, and a 2 piece cleaning rod in butt..Had the bayonet from a Carcano I owned some 40 years ago.Picked up the ammo at a military collestible show last week.96 rounds, some various dates from 1927-1939,20 Norma;bunch of stripper clips,2 boxes of ammo for $45.All most half of what I paid for the rifle.Stock has a hair line crack in it,very light colored wood. Other than that bore is very good. Here are some photos. Vince

:thumb: Nice-looking rifle. I'm not a fan of non-adjustable rear sights, but I'd still be happy with this Carcano if it were in my collection.

BTW, what pistol is that in your pics?

Thanks, the pistol is a.380caliber Beretta 1934 pistol, I bought from a veteren a few years ago.He liberated it from a German soldier along with a nice all matching Mauser 98k rifle in northern Italy early 1945.I also bought the Mauser rifle . Vince
