Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

M96 bolt in K98... FOUND MY ANSWER

I'm sure this is an obvious question, and I realize that one is a 96 pattern and the other is a 98. However, does anyone know (or can check if you have them both) if the bolt from a Swedish M96/M38 fit/work in a 98 type action? Or maybe if the bolt body will work so long as you utilize a 98 pattern bolt shroud/firing pin assembly?


ETA: Nevermind, I ended up finding a definitive answer that showed good pictures. I figured it wouldn't work, but some pictures made it look like it possibly could.

Nope. For a number of reasons, the greatest that the Swede bolt is too short.
