1903 price check

Post by Milsurpmadman »

I have an RIA 1903 I'm thinking about selling but really have no idea what it's worth these days. It's a shooter. Serial number 351XXX. Stock has a repair on the heal and has been refinished, Has muzzle wear but shoots well. I acquired in a trade for a Swedish Mauser with another SRF member many years ago. I looked at Gunbroker but I think a lot of the prices there are unrealistic. I can post a pic or two if that helps. Appreciate the help.

What is the barrel date?
Finger groove stock or WW2 replacement.
Decent 03's start at $600 and go up accordingly.

Pictures would help, but "generic" M1903s go for about what M14man suggested.

Last one I sold that had a finger groove stock and an SA barrel went for $650 on GB about a year ago. Check out GB and see the rifles that are selling not the people who want $3000 for a run of the mill 1903 and it's been there for a year. Prices seem to have come down on Rifles that are selling a bit.
