Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Way back when , if you were issued a new Remington US model 1917 might you possibly find some Eddystone parts in your rifle ?

No.. Each maker had no problem making enough parts for their own guns.
Now a ww2 reissue can be a total mixmaster.
Remember they hed been building pattern 1914s for the British, so they knew what they were doing.
