I wanted to try forming some cases from two other calibers, but it didn't work out too well. I kept getting wrinkled necks and shoulders or splits. So I started looking for commercial cases. It seemed everyone was sold out. Months went by and then I happened to see that Buffalo Arms had gotten some. I ordered a bunch and must have just made it under the wire because 2 days later their website said they were sold out again.
I've been eagerly waiting for them so I could shoot the rifle for the first time. Post office tracking said they would arrive last Friday. They finally came today, Monday, at 5:30 pm. (Our mail normally arrives at 1:30.) Excellent service, post office.

Anyway, now there are loaded with 185 gr. bullets, ready for the range. These cases were formed from .45-70 and the rims turned down slightly. They are too small for a .45-70 shell head holder but fit perfectly in one for 8x56R.
