New to me, and as close to actual new as it can be. Proper metal parts for one of these are matching.I already had bought the owners 1922 and then he listed this one on GB. The 1922 as you have seen is perfect. This one is perfect and like new.
Boy, if someone has one of these in better condition, I would like to see it. This one sat on GB for about 3 days. NO Bidders. He started at $375.01 with a BIN of $450. When I saw this, I nearly had the Big One! So, emailed for a lot more pics and while waiting checked with some experts on the Scandinavian Forum in Gun Boards that I know. Got the pics and a couple of responses and I just nailed that BIN before some one else figured out what it really is. Enjoy a few Pics.

That has to be, hands down, the nicest Husky I've ever seen!

Almost gave me a heart attach.

It did me too Mike when I saw in on GB. He had some pics where he used flash and it made the stock look
real light. But one did not. That was a clue. Still, how did a 1943 this valuable sit there for nearly three days I cannot
imagine. I am just glad it did. Other 1943 Huskys in a bit less condition have been selling for $750 and on up. All based on condition. And I think this may well be at the top level condition wise.

Amazing rifle find and great price too, congratulations. Until now, I have not see an example that clean. The photos you took show the rifle well. What do you plan on doing with your Husqvarna M38...IE safe queen, shoot it and then store it?

I have plenty of Swedes to shoot, so one like this will have to be a Safe Queen.

Ok, originally this rifle had the rarest of Range Plates. I was told it can be a life time search to find one.
Well I have a brand new unissued Bayonet for it, and the rare plate! She looks just like she was issued now!
Happy Day!

I have a number of M96 in this condition. But this one is for a torped M38 designed and sighted for M41 ammo.
This plate was to show how to compensate when shooting the older m94 ammo. One of these in any condition is rare
and very valuable. I have to protect my sources. But, I can tell you it did not come from North or South America.
