Has anyone had issues with headspace on an SKS and if so how was it resolved. Also has there been any discussion on this subject?

Never heard of any issues, ever.

But I am not an SKS expert.

Never heard of any headspace issues on a SKS, not even when a Chinese barrel was being installed on a Yugo M59 receiver. And then the barrel shoulder was trimmed just a touch to seat the breach face.

The only SKS headspace question I have ever head of in the last 30 years was because the bolt would not fully closed when it is eased forward into battery with a round in the chamber?
IF that is the issue, it is a non issue, as the bolt needs to slam shut to fully go into battery.
Every SKS is designed like that.
