I just got off of the phone with David Cresap and asked if the machinist would be willing to make a NEW GAS CYLINDER ( cup, piston rider, whatever ) out of stainless steel or other long wearing material. I suggested that the "cup" be made slightly smaller in the inside diameter than original so the end user can hand fit the cup to their worn piston, or turn the piston down in a hand drill using a Swiss needle file to fit the new cup. This should make all of those wall hangers shooters again.
For you lucky four who did not snooze and got the new pistons, you know how well made they are. Expect the same quality on the new cups. I will try to work out the details of the new gas cups and get back to you guys soon. The machinist is out of state for 15 days but is aware of the need for this part.
I'm open to suggestions on this part and what you guys want for your rifles.

Custom parts will NOT be available. All will be the same size and type to keep the price down.

DO NOT ASK TO BE PUT ON A LIST A T T H I S T I M E !!!!!!!!
