Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Any locals going? It is at the Shrine Bldg just north of corner of where 169 turns south. Address is 106 E. 7th Street. Vets get an entrance discount.

Topeka may be better for milsurps. I have a feeling Coffeyville will be mostly western. But I plan on checking anyway. It is only about 40 miles away and one of my favorite eating places is a block away. The Kansas Buffett. Their weekend food is great.

Coffeyville will be pretty small I think. No experience with Topeka but doubt it is anywhere near like the Tulsa gun shows.

ha ha well, I did not at all thunk that any would approach the Tulsa show in size. So one would have time to hit other points of interest, There are other cool things in a Coffeyville trip to see...

Topeka show is advertised as 400 tables. Its a RK show. Its ok some times and sometimes it sucks.

That is true. Many interesting things like the Brown Mansion and the Dalton Museum just for starters.

Not to mention it would not take much to shoot up hit the TOPEKA show the next day and settle back for some BBQ in Kansas City...

Roads should be clear around here for the weekend. You will be getting a late start, though, if you are still home now.

What is not to love. We have every thing. Cold wind, rain, snow, tornados, long grassy plains where you can see the tornados coming for many miles.........

Gun Show was not much. Maybe 50 tables, mostly antique and antique western style guns. Some milsurp but proud of them. Examples: Asking $450 for an M44 I used to pay $50 for maybe 8 years ago, another table had a M48 Mauser for $499, an Argentine long rifle for $1150. I did find some nice knifes and bought one custom out of Texas Knifes. A bone handled Damascus steel skinning knife that I will never use. :)
