Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Need a riser (solved)

#1 Post by JaxxyFur » Sun Feb 16, 2020 2:15 pm

Hey guys so I have an ar with a red dot sight that sits a bit low for me so I need about a 1/2" riser to probably get the right adjustment and co witness. Problem is is there are the cheapo 9$ ones that will shear off in 10 shots or the 100$ ones that are honestly highway robbery. Does anyone know of a good brand of risers that won't break the bank but are also durable?

Thanks,
Jax

I bought a cheapo 1/2" riser on Ebay, not $9, but $7.85... No problems, have fired a couple hundred rounds with it, has a Nikon 3X compact scope on it, mounted with an ordinary pair of "high" scope rings.

I’ve got a nice YHM riser that I’m not using if you are interested.
