Just got it and it was full of cosmoline, or it's Japanese equivilant. After cleaning that out, I couldn't find any powder residue and wonder if this had ever been shot. Bore looks like new, no pitting and only a very small bit of surface rust. It's been carried, but I cannot say the holster has been with it since new. Has anyone else come across these packed with cosmoline?
