Stock Repair Question

Post by HogBoy »

Well I thought I might order a replacement stock while I try to repair this one but it seems Sarco is out not and Liberty Tree has them for $145. I can see glue from were someone had tried to glue it back together and it didn't hold. I am going to order some acruglass today for it, also would it be acceptable to drill it and place a dowel rod at the end of the crack to keep it from growing? Any thoughts one this would be greatly appreciated.

No need the try and peg the front of the crack. Just follow the steps in this sticky and you will be good.
