Picked this up at the gun show yesterday, tag said Turkish but I know that's not right I think it might be Czechoslovakian but not exactly sure. It has an inverted blade, and its 15 3/4 long any help as to origin and what it would fit on would help. And any theories as why the blade looks redone but the pommel still has original patina. Thanks

VZ24 Bayonet I think.

Not sure if it is the correct scabbard. The lug looks different to what ive seen.

It is a VZ-23 Long bayonet that was issued and used on the VZ24 rifle among others.

I agree, the scabbard does not look correct.

OK, disregard what I said. It is the VZ24 because the blade is upside down. It just seems to be an awful long blade for a VZ24.

The scabbard still looks wrong.
