This model bayonet was converted from the Vetterli Fascia Knife.

The Muzzle Ring came in 15mm diameter for the long rifles and 14mm dia for the Carbines.
This particular one has the 14mm ring

Picture of the tip of the blade.

The 1914 Saw Back blade tip is more bulbous in shape

Hi Indy1919a4

The teeth was machined at the factory.
I read that the 1906 were modified Vetterli 1878 Saw Backs.
Use the blade and marry up with the Model 1889 handle
