Are these any good?
Saw them on Midway's site, and the reviews look encouraging.
I am going to rebarrel at least 2 turks to 6.5 swede.
And since my gunsmith said he would be too busy until springtime....
Looks to me that the third job will be saving me money.
(Now I'm building a swede sporter for my granddaughter, she just turned 4 months old!)
and I see that reamers ang guages can be rented very reasonably
Thank you, C

They work well and are cost effective.

Took two barrels off yesterday!!
I bought the barrel vise, and some rosin.
Spent $ 1.50 and made an action wrench with a U bolt and some angle iron.
So the vise has already made me money.
soaked both actions with Break free, and they came off fine.
Got an Adams and Bennet 6.5 from Midway, looks great, now I'll rent a reamer and guages and be good to go!
Thank you, C

glad to hear that they came off easy. i had a couple that were brutal to get off.

I have rented reamers and crowning tools from these guys a couple of times. I have heard good things about either rental place though.

One barrel did not want to come off, but I have a few spare 03's.
I am fixing to rent a reamer and guages from them as well.
Thank you, C
