Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Here is a pair by Hall. The decorations on these and many other spurs is nickel silver, sometimes called German silver or electrum. It is an alloy of nickel, zinc and copper, but contains no silver. It is shiny and corrosion resistant, making it perfect for this type of use.

There are several vendors on ebay who sell modern cast iron spurs for decorative uses. I use one of these at the blacksmith shop where I volunteer, when I talk about cast iron.

North & Judd were Buermann's successors and kept many of the same designs.

In 1960 Harry Tompkins won the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Assn. bull riding championship and was rewarded with these Garcia spurs.

Here is an old pair of Bradney spurs. I'm guessing that at least one of the decorations has been lost over the years.

It looks to me that SRF has the makings of an online spur museum. I have been following & enjoying this thread and can't wait for the next additions! I am glad to see that they have been saved from the scrap iron pile somewhere by people that know what they are and can enjoy them.

Here's something a little different, by Bryant. They look a lot like the ones by Joe Bianchi.
