I never knew America and German troops ever fought together.
Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

To old to fight and to old to run, a Jar head will just shoot and be done with you.
Re: Very strange WW 2 battle
I just watched this on TV this evening. I had to rewind it, as I missed something and couldn't figure out why Germans were shooting at Germans along side Americans.
The show is part of the "Hitler's Last Stand" series with the episode being "Enemy Allies" Season 1 Episode 4. With a description of:
"German and American soldiers fight together to save French prisoners from Nazi troops."
SS-Hauptsturmführer Kurt-Siegfried Schrader only spent 2 years in a POW camp after the war, due to a letter stating he defended the French Prisoners against the Nazis this letter was signed by the French prisoners. Pretty interesting show, I thought I knew a lot about WWII, but I had never heard of this prior to the show tonight. Then this topic comes up on the forum here on the same night, go figure.

Re: Very strange WW 2 battle
Shows you how the German Army was falling apart during the last days of the war. Many generals disobeyed orders to fight the Russians and headed for American lines to surrender I don't think all SS personnel were evil I think the huge amount of meth that was given to all German units may have made them do things they would not have normally done but a vast majority of SS were evil thugs.
