Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

It is an old military weapon systems that have been used by the Yugoslav armed forces since the Second World War to the nineties. so the technique is confiscated (German) as the eastern and western ones. Some of them were from own military industry.

Alot of interesting items on display.

Love the Train with the flak carriage.

I saw that also, wondered if the gun could be fired while the train is moving, Or what operating window it worked under?

Do wish we had more Armored trains in museums.. Love armored trains..

The coolest thing is when you realise that some of these German, US and Soviet made items were sometimes in use in the same army, at the same time! Because the JNA had lots German or German-inspired small arms (M48 Mausers, MG42 copies, even StG-44s for their paratroopers) and artillery (to the point that NATO documents issued to troops that were to intervene in the 90s mentioned FlaK 18 guns as a threat!), American F-84 and 86 planes, artillery, M7 Priest and M47 Patton tanks, and Soviet T-34s, towed artillery and, later on, T-54/55s, MiGs and license made T-72s. That's why that museum has such a cool collection!

By the way, what would you recommend for a week-long trip to Slovenia? I've been considering spending some days here with my wife and some family members, since I have Slovenian roots. Right now, we've got that museum, the Ljubljana city center, what else is cool there? Oh, and I've got another question: we were considering renting this apartment in Ljubljana, because it's easier than renting three to five different hotels or AirBnBs. Is the price adequate for the offering, or should we look elsewhere? Please keep in mind that it'd be shared between 6 to 10 people.

You must take time and visit Predjama Castle (near Postojna), one of the biggest cave-castle in Europe! There is wunderful story behind. In Postojna you have nice Postojna cave. In Kobarid you can visit Kobariški muzej- wwi Soška fronta, Cerkno- bolnica Franja - partizan field hospital in secret location in canyon of river Pasica...many, many nice places! I can show you my family wine cellar and you can taste our home made wine!

Thanks. It deserves a special presentation.

In cave castle in the summer days, knightly battles and dueling on horses and all middle age weapons are organized. Archery competitions too. Worth seeing,

Wow, thanks for the offer! I'll keep you informed if this trip happens (coordinating so many people for a trip is like herding cats!) and I'll take your offer! I'll make sure not to come empty handed them, and will bring caviar and vodka.
