Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Pics from before Springfield Sporters closed down. Lots of pics.
They really seemed to have it organized.

If the links go down or do not open due to your old computer I am posting them here so they stay as a record of the GREAT, Springfield Sporters. Here is a tribute to a great company that many of us old guys got great parts at a reasonable price. It will be missed. THANK YOU RUSSEL & your dad for his contributions to C & R history. I also saved some of the old SAMCO auction photos. For some reason my 2003 Mac does not open the links. These photos are from the above 2 posted links that Charles (many thanks for his research efforts) provided:

These are fixed in the forum as a record so they will stay put.

Thank you for posting the photo's. It's a shame that S/S stock is now in different hands. Greed will kick in and the prices will soar.

They already did. Centerfure systems has a bunch of Mausers from them as well as bayonets.
S S had things organized pretty well for the parts. For instance the model 1917 rifle parts were sorted by maker and finish, blue / parkerized.
The no 4 km 1 parts were also offered by maker and early or late war.

I dont see century doing as much.
But I am an optimist damn it, so I will try and stay that way.

72 USMC did a great job snagging the pics for the site. I had considered doing it myself but flaked. :)
