Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Counterfeit Parts

#1 Post by Smokey » Fri Mar 06, 2020 1:59 pm

A few weeks ago I decided to buy a set of back-up iron sights for my rifle.
I went on Amazon, found a set (supposedly) from MagPul and bought them.
They never worked properly, I could not get a proper zero with an acceptable sight picture, and called MagPul to find out what was going on.
The technical specialist determined my sights were not made by MagPul and explained why.
He also explained that they have a real problem with poor quality clones with the MagPul brand on them.
I ordered a set of MBUS sights directly from MagPul and they are exactly what I was supposed to have gotten.

If you want MagPul products, order directly from MagPul and get the quality and performance you expect.
Arguing with someone who denounces reason is like administering medicine to a corpse.

yes, lot of counterfeit parts are out there, besides the web sites like AMAZON, EBAY etc... they are all over the tables at gun shows. if you know what the things to look for in the packaging and the products itself before you buy, you will save yourself some money and headaches.

educated yourself, this is the age of the internet where you can search for yourself
COOL IT WITH THE BOOM-BOOMS!! OVA-DAY!!
