Drinking while on Proxibid strikes again! M1910 Glisenti rig

Post by Airforce1 »

Title says it all. Trying to get a Italian handgun collection going to complement my long gun display. Went cheaper than the one with the incorrect holster. Hopefully it will take less time to get here than my tromboncino. Guess I know where my tax refund is going.

I have yet to reload other than shotgun but when I do it will be one of the first to go bang.

So this little beauty shoots a 9mm Glisenti rounds, which is like a 9mm luger round but is lower powered

Sent my payment out today so the wait begins. Also got a M1891 Rifle with a Tubata marked barrel coming from the same place.

Got it today. Finish looks original. All matching inside and out (even still has the matching takedown tool under the grip panel). Came with 2 different style magazines, one with a bolt hold open and one without. Holster is mint! Safety is non functional like all of them are. Overall a nice early example.

It is so cool, it deserves more close up photos for us dreamers, please. The orig. link has some nice close up views and I may post some screen shots of them before they are gone. Nice grip and emblem. I have never seen one in person. What a fantastic rig.

So can you use "light loaded" 9 x 19 mm reloaded ammo?
