Chinese Arisaka

Post by Hurni92 »

Hello, I'm new to this forum and recently aquired a Japanese Type 99 Arisaka that the Chinese chambered in 7.62x39...I think. Just curious if anybody has a good reference for Chinese markings, I have not been able to find any. It only has one cartouche on the buttstock. The gentleman whom I bought it from said he thinks its north Vietnamese markings, but did not divulge where he found that information. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Garrett

Didn't Japan open an arsenal in Manchuria during WWII?
