Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Picked this gem up at a nearby flea market, the individual was asking $350 but with some trading it came home with me. It's obviously a refurb with a like-new bore and blueing and the gas valve parts look new also. The only non-matching part is the magazine but this is a shooter and I couldn't care any less about that! I haven't got a Yugo sling yet so an extra Chinese sling is doing service until then! Although I never expect to use them, the night sights are useless as breasts on a chicken

I have heard the Yugoslavians are the best shooters of the SKS carbines, this one shoots tighter groups than our Russian and Chinese.

Thank you Cattus, it's my first Yugo and my favorite over our Russian and Chinese carbines!

Numrich has the yugo slings. Thay also sell them as a set with tge cleaning kit and ammo pouch.
I believe liberty tree also has slings.
I can't say they are tge best shooters, in fact i know a guy with vast experience in all makes of sks guns. And the yugo m59/66 would be his last choice. :D
Its the grenade launcher gas valve, combined with corrosive ammo.
Around 2002 i got 2 on clearence from aim @90 bucks each , shipped.
They were a little beat up. But cleaned up nice. My kid brother, once we cleaned the cosmolene was hitting a tennis ball @100 yards with golden tiger ammo.
As the the night sights you can buy phosphorous mpdel pait and you are good to go,
Byw. Nice rifle / carbine...
