Dutch Mannlicher bolt piece

#1 Post by nrobertb » Wed Aug 14, 2019 7:13 pm

The photo is of a Dutch Mannlicher bolt. Can anyone tell me the name and function of the top piece that slides back and forth? I need to replace it and don't know what it is called.
