Holy smokes man, are trying to corner the market?
I, too, like the Enfield and I really like the No.1 Mk.3*. I got mine at a gun show a few years back and could not see light through the barrel and luckily it cleaned up nicely. I had just had some surgery on my neck and my friend Scott did the trigger squeezing the first time out as the Doctor told me no shooting for a while. To make a long story short, the bolt handle moved to horizontal upon firing. You can read about my adventures with this issue link to thread
thankfully fitting a new bolt body fixed the problem.
I can't help but wonder if all the WWI movies I watched when I was a kid may have had some influence on me.
I only have this one beat up Enfield, but, it shoots and groups nicely. It was built at Ishapore when Lord Mountbatten was managing India's move to independence. If I could afford it, I would have more than one. Perhaps, one that is a little prettier than this old, wart covered one that I have.
All kidding aside, you have a really nice collection ... Thanks for posting all the photographs of them!
