Its going to take me forever to get to 30, since I read the forum daily but very rarely do I ever chime in with something.

This is going to be hard. Can I just get a wayback machine check on my over 900 posts and get a pass? HA HA HA....I dont talk that much here since I am not really an expert at anything...just a collector.
I agree, I had over five thousand posts and donated money to this site again even though I didn't have a clue if it would come back, now being told I can't look at the FS/FT section till I make thirty posts seems kind of like a slap in the face, something I don't usually get from friends.

It's whatever you are OK with, how hard is it to get 30 posts, for some pretty easy for others more difficult. I wonder why there is any number, just who are we trying to keep out?

I agree with Friedspam's complaint. Many of us were site benefactors with many posts, so again reaching 30 posts could be an effort. but if my count is correct, this is #30 for me :D .

To anyone else who feels the need to notate how "terrible" it is that you need a post count, keep in mind that the Classifieds section is a courtesy extended to the user base and is not a requirement for this forum to function. Additionally, it is a risk for you to use, so in order to keep out randos, we put a requirement on it to induce people to post quality content and not just use this board as a gunlistings or armslist, which you are more than welcome to use in lieu of posting here and accessing the Classifieds section.

Additionally, in the future, the Classifieds requirements are subject to change, and might be even more strict. I am still tossing around the idea of even keeping the section in the first place.

I bought a fair amount of rifles off this board over the years. Never been disappointed.I had thousands of posts on the old board but IMO a Post count counting new posts is no big deal as a requirement. Just saying.

I hear you. Not sure how many I had on the old forum and I donated money to this one (never got even a thank you), bought here bought elsewhere will maybe buy here again if anyone that is left has anything good to sell. I liked the rules here better then at the "big gun board" but I will buy over there again as well. I can say that there are many more eyeballs on the other boards.

Oh well I ramble on.

Its easier to get a second mortgage on my house than to get on the classified. And I don`t have a job.
