I have 2 of the Enfield 2A's, chambered in 308, and no stripper clips! I 'm not even sure if they hold 10 or 12 rounds, but does anyone have a source for stripper clips for faster/easier loading? Maybe a stripper clip for some other 308 will work on these Enfields?

Thanks for your advice/direction!

As far as I know all 7.62 Nato is the same regarding striper clips. That's part of the Nato spec. Interchangeability.

I bought some from:

http://stores.shop.ebay.com/ULTIMATEARM ... SUPERSTORE

An eBay store. Good service. Fast delivery. Brand new clips.

M14 stripper clips, original 5 round type. But NOT the 10 round as they are junk IMHO.

Hmmmmm ...

metrotps;

You're right. These don't work so well with a full 10 rounds. They're NC Star brand. Chinese made. Real nice. Work fine with 5 or 6 rounds. Why would one want a 10 round one? Did any particular weapon require a 10 rounder?

Isn't the mag capacity for the Enfield 2A at 10 rounds?

Funny how a slight change in the angle of the bottom of a magazine can drastically change the ammo capacity, huh? Sort of makes you wonder why they didn't adopt the same style mag for the British Enfields to increase their capacity as well...

The rimmed 303 case makes them stack in an arc. 308/7.62 Nato don't do that as badly. Also as the magazine gets bigger it becomes a hinderance. Try going prone with an AK with a 30 rounder.
Besides, 10 rounds is already twice what Jerry has! :wink:
