Picked this one up at a small fun show today in a trade. I figure I have $150.00 in it. Beautiful weapon with a rich dark walnut stock and great blueing. All matching. Pristine bore and crown. It even came with a '44 dated C arrow sling. It has the odd handleing ding here and there but nothing much. Crisp stock markings.

Was 1950 the last year #4s were made in Canada?

Nice looking rifle! :thumb: I have a Long Branch and love it, very accurate. Congrats on a great deal. I could be wrong about this, but I think 1956 was the last year of production.

I have a '43 LB but I just could not pass this one up. Darn Enfields sneak up on you in number! #9...so far!

Incredible! If I ever move to the great state of Virginia, I am going to seek out your help in finding a home. You are obviously blessed with great finds!
Good looking rifle! =D>

Nope, just the serial and C arrow mark.
