Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

Carcano 91/38

#1 Post by lamontagne0527 » Mon Jun 04, 2018 12:45 pm

I have an italian 91/38 carbine in 6.5x52mm. Looks to be in very good condition. Barrel looks mint and bolt matches the receiver. There is what appears to be an arsenal stamp on the stock. Is the stamp a refurbishment stamp or is it an original factory stamp that was put on when the rifle was manufactured?

Factory stamp. Should match the date on the receiver. There will also be similar ones used on replaced stocks.

alright, it matches the date on the receiver and also matches the serial number as well. Everything on the rifle appears to be matched,

Nice! It is OK. Would you post some rifles photos?
