Well, the board is either fixed, or it's going to run terribly. Cross your fingers and hope for the best. I'm at my technical limit right now.

My 1905 M96

My 1905 M96 I found a few months ago, in beautiful condition. All matching (steel & wood) with the exception of no numbers on the cleaning rod. The bore is sharp and has a mirror-like finish, what little shooting I have been able to do has been as expected of these awesome pieces of craftsmanship.

Very nice rifle.
I will be shooting mine this weekend in our 800 yard match. They are outstanding shooters.

Great looking rifle. They are great shooters and have the smoothest action of any bolt action I have shot

My thanks to each of you!
Rob I must agree with you, this rifle has a butter-smooth action. I'm left handed and try to avoid bolt guns but I couldn't walk away from this "sweet thang". When I first saw it, the owner was letting it go for very little (below $400), my thoughts were turning it for a profit. But when I cleaned the cosmoline out of it and took it to the range I knew she was staying with me!

Rapidrob I'm envious. The longest distance at our range is 200 yards but it's closed down right now for some heavy duty maintenance and will be out of commission for a while. We live in the country but I hate to shoot around here as there are houses within approx half a mile through the woods in several directions.
